Environmental Liner Installation at an Aging Petrochemical Plant
A concrete pond used for circulating water to cool a petrochemical plant and capture storm water run-off had deteriorated to the point where it would no longer hold water. Additionally, old pipes and a concrete pump house riser needed to be sealed, and two new pipes needed to be installed to comply with state requirements.
To help remediate the issues, a layer of 10 oz geotextile, 18” of sand with leak detection, and 60 mil liner were installed. The pump house riser was sealed and lined with a layer of geotextile and 2 layers of 60 mil. The project was completed by Mustang Extreme’s highly skilled craftsmen who expertly met all the state requirements of this multi-faceted project.
