Mustang Sends 4 More Temporary Bridges to Maui to Assist in Fire Recovery Efforts
We recently shipped a total of 6 bridges to Maui to assist with the on-going recovery efforts from the devastating fires of 2023.
The goal was to redirect truck traffic away from central Maui during the hauling of debris from the temporary holding area to a permanent location. The fastest, most direct route required the installation of temporary bridges over three sections of drainage canals. Each section consisted of 2 bridges to accommodate 2-way traffic over the canals. Our customer captured the installation in an amazing video.
Gaining access to remote areas, repairing infrastructure, and removing debris are critical for disaster recovery. We are here to help with composite site access mats, which are ideal for swampy, muddy site conditions, and fast-deploy temporary bridges which can be installed in less than a day. Our geosynthetic liner systems can be installed for sediment and erosion control and a range of other applications.
